University Welcoming Ceremony

Registration：9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. (Please present your CityUHK Mobile ID to the registration counter. )
Time：9:30 a.m. - 10:40 a.m.

Lucky Draw：
New students who attend BOTH the University Welcoming Ceremony on 28 August 2026 and the University Life Induction Day on 29 August 2026 will have the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw, with a chance to win prizes such as an iPhone, Smart Watch, or other electronic devices.
Adverse Weather Arrangement:
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, remains in effect at 7:00 a.m., the Ceremony will be postponed to 29 August 2026, 9:30 a.m. - 10:40 a.m. The University Life Induction Day, originally scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on 29 August, will commence immediately after the Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Students are advised to remain at the venue upon completion of the Ceremony and will be guided by senior students and SDS staff members from JCT Auditorium directly to the designated classrooms for the Induction Workshop.
