More than 90 final-year students from City University of Hong Kong’s (CityU) Department of Marketing conducted marketing consultancy projects for a number of local and multinational companies between September and December last year. An award presentation ceremony will be held on 10 January to recognise their achievements.
Guests attending the ceremony include CityU’s Deputy President Professor David Tong Shuk-yin, Dean of the Faculty of Business Professor Wei Kwok-kee, Associate Dean Professor Kenneth Chan Shun-yuen, and representatives from participating companies. These companies include Akos Advanced Technology Limited (member company of Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks); Bank of Communications Co. Ltd, Hong Kong Branch; Coca-Cola China Limited; Everplant Technology Limited (member company of Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks); General Mills Hong Kong; iDS Marketing, Li & Fung Group; Wellcome and Wilson Communications Limited.
CityU students have also won six awards in the Young Marketing Communicators Awards organised earlier by the Hong Kong Institute of Marketing. The award-winning students will also be credited at the ceremony.
