CityU and Chinese Academy of Sciences sign agreement

Professor Roderick Wong, Director of the Liu Bie Ju Centre for Mathematical Sciences (RCMS) and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and Professor Yang Lo, Director of the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Sciences of the ChineseAcademy of Sciences, have signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement, designed to promote academic exchange and collaboration, was signed at a ceremony at CityU on 30 October.

 

At the signing ceremony, both Professor Wong and Professor Lo said they were very pleased to be able to further enhance the cooperative relationship between the two institutions, which share many research areas and topics of common interest.

 

Under the terms of the three-year agreement, both parties have agreed to exchange academics/research personnel to participate in research projects of mutual interest and academic exchange activities. Both parties have also agreed to jointly admit and supervise research students.
