Ergotek Limited

Ergotek Limited focuses on the development of a one-stop food waste management solution, using up-front wireless and IoT technology to deploy a fully integrated traceability solution for monitoring different types of waste collected from a specific area, yield management of solid and liquid waste, processing techniques for food waste, and quality assurance for transforming waste into fertiliser and animal feed for agriculture and aquaculture use.

FEEDSPRESSO, our “IoT food waste to feed” transformation system embedded in a container, enhances food waste usage by transforming the waste collected from agriculture, aquaculture and households into low-cost, qualified fertilisers and animal feeds. The solution aims to bring the following impacts on the community:

  • Decentralised transformation facility;
  • Reduce carbon emission; and
  • Building a green community.

We aim to help alleviate the food waste management problem and reduce carbon and greenhouse gas emissions. One FEEDSPRESSO unit can process up to eight tonnes of food waste and mitigate up to 100 tonnes of CO2-e (carbon dioxide equivalent) emissions daily, or about 36,500 tonnes of CO2-e emissions yearly. We aim to build 1,000 sets of FEEDSPRESSO in Asia, which can reduce up CO2-e emissions by up to 0.04 gigatonnes per year (equivalent to the annual emissions of 90,000 Boeing 747 jets).
