Cat Limited

CAT Limited Was founded to address the adverse impact on marine ecosystems of current antifouling paints and the lack of effective antifouling coatings in the market. Our goal is to use the power of science to create sustainable products and to provide our clients with an exceptional marine experience.

Nano-MAP, CAT’s first product, was designed to fully replace heavy metal-based antifouling paints for a better antifouling. Nano-MAP is a dual-function, high-performance marine paint additive. The team considered the intensity of solar radiation in seawater to produce photocatalytic oxidation and super hydrophobicity, thereby preventing unwanted growth of microorganisms on man-made marine surfaces. Nano-MAP additives are non-toxic and insoluble, giving the surfaces an anti-adhesion property, and are suitable for fiberglass and metal body parts.

The entire CAT team, including employees, partners and investors, shares a deep commitment to build a new future of sustainable yachting around the world. Our antifouling solution is only the start. The continuation of scientific research will lead us to develop novel technology to increase energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and achieve sustainability.
