Dr Peter Ho Ka-nam and two partners founded Kwonnie Electrical Products in early 80s to manufacture transformers and electrical household products. In the past 30 years, Dr Ho has built several factories in different industrial sectors. In 2006, he left the company to take the helm of Techworld Industries Ltd. serving as Managing Director, a renowned manufacturer of quality chargers, power supplies and home automation electronic products.

Dr Ho received his post-secondary education in Canada and doctorate and master’s degrees in engineering management from CityU. As a CityU alumnus, he has been making significant contributions to advance the development of his alma mater including establishment of scholarships and support for the University’s Industrial Attachment Scheme.
