A HK$5 million donation awarded to City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) by the Tin Ka Ping Foundation will promote moral education, Chinese culture, and integration with world civilisation.
More than 100 guests including members of City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Foundation and good friends who enthusiastically support the University got together at the CityUHK Foundation Spring Reception on 8 March to extend their good wishes for our future development.
A HK$2 million donation from the Chu Wong Yim Fong Charitable Foundation will be used to set up a scholarship and bursary endowment fund for students of City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). Professor Way Kuo, CityUHK President, thanked Mr Chu Hung-kwan, the founder and Chairman of the Foundation, and his family members for their generous contributions over the years.
Over 500 guests attended the annual dinner of the City University of Hong Kong Foundation (CityUHK Foundation) on 22 November, at which more than HK$14.6 million was raised to support the University’s One Health initiative. The record donation will be used to set up scholarships, fund pioneering research, and enhance teaching and research facilities.
