In appreciation of the generosity of the CityUHK Foundation members and to strengthen their ties with the University, the following acknowledgements will be arranged appropriately:

A Certificate of Appreciation issued by the CityUHK Foundation

A permanent listing on the University Donor Roll displayed on campus for members who make a one-off contribution of HK$500,000 or more

 

Invitations to the University’s official events and ceremonies, and special functions organised exclusively for members

On-campus Restaurants

Members of the CityU Foundation can enjoy the services provided by the University's on-campus restaurants by presenting the Patronage Card.

"Friends of the Library"

Complimentary membership of the "Friends of the Library" is exclusive for Honorary Patrons, Honorary Presidents and Honorary Vice-Presidents of the CityU Foundation. Cardholders can enjoy the services provided by the Run Run Shaw Library.

Terms & Conditions

  • “Friends of the Library” members can borrow a maximum of 10 items at a time from the library for a loan period of 30 days.
  • All applicants must be 18 or older.
  • All “Friends of the Library” members must abide by the Library regulations, which can be found at https://www.cityu.edu.hk/lib/about/libreg/regulat.htm
  • The Library reserves the right to alter the loan privileges, if deemed necessary, without prior notification.
