LLM Welcome Reception 2025

The School of Law hosted its annual LLM Welcome Reception this September, bringing together new LLM students, faculty members, and Student Advisors from different streams. The event served as an ice-breaker and a friendly start to the academic year, with staff extending a warm welcome and students quickly connecting with classmates and teachers.

Now in its tenth year, the Student Advising Scheme continues to offer practical guidance on course selection and study matters at CityUHK. The Reception gave many students their first in-person meeting with their stream’s Advisor, enabling direct conversation and clear answers to early-semester questions.

This year’s Reception drew 80 student participants. Post-event feedback was very positive, with attendees noting an enjoyable atmosphere and productive exchanges. The School looks forward to supporting our LLM students throughout the year.
