CityU Virtual Information Day 2021
The CityU Virtual Information Day 2021 was held on 23 October 2021 (Saturday) from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The School of Law set up a virtual booth and organized a series of online seminar, sharing session and consultations to provide prospective students with the most up-to-date information about the Bachelor of Laws and the double degree programmes. Our faculty staff and alumna introduced programme information and addressed queries raised by participants.
Professor TAN Cheng Han, Dean of School of Law (SLW), talked on “Legal Education: Ensuring Excellence in a Disruptive Environment”, our alumna Ms Ruby LEUNG talked on “Life at and after CityU”, the LLB team talked on “What is the LLB about and how to get admitted to LLB studies” and in collaboration with Dr. Raymond WONG, Major Leader of BBA Accountancy, the LLB team presented the new Double Degree with Accountancy. In addition, Ms Anna LUI participated in the presentations on the double degrees with Criminology and Public Policy, and Computing Mathematics, organised by College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) and Department of Mathematics respectively. All sessions were well attended by participants and they have raised many meaningful questions and shown their keen interest in the programmes. The work started at the Information Day will continue with several online talks organised by the Provost Office, for secondary school students and a workshop organised by the SLW in June 2022.
香港城市大學網上本科入學資訊日於2021年10月23日（星期六）上午十時至下午六時舉行。法律學院設置虛擬攤位並舉辦了一系列的網上諮詢及分享會，為有意向入讀的學生提供有關法律學學士及雙學位課程的最新資訊。活動當天，學院的教職員及校友為出席者介紹課程資訊和解答查詢。
法律學院院長陳清漢教授主講「法律教育：於變遷環境下保持卓越教育」，法律學院校友梁瑜殷則分享「在城大及畢業後生活的點滴」，法律學學士課程組介紹「法律學學士課程及其入學要求」並與工商管理學士（會計）課程主任黃敏剛博士合作，介紹了法律學和會計學雙學位新課程。此外，法律學院法律學學士課程副主任呂凱恩女士還出席了分別由人文社會科學院和數學系舉辦的社會科學學士（犯罪學）與法律學學士，社會科學學士（公共政策）與法律學學士以及法律學學士與理學士（計算數學）三個雙學位課程講座。在講座期間，出席者十分踴躍，對課程深感興趣，並提出了許多對課程的提問。資訊日為課程推廣揭開序幕，其後學務副校長室將為中學生舉辦幾次在線講座，而法律學院則定於2022年6月舉辦工作坊。
