From 6 to 15 June, thirteen passionate students from the College of Engineering and the College of Science embarked on a transformative journey to Malaysia, organised by Engineers Without Borders Hong Kong.

CSCI Associate Dean (Research and Postgraduate Education), Professor Danfeng Li, has been selected as a 2025 AYS Fellow of the Asian Young Scientist Fellowship, in the Physical Science Fellows category.

Around 70 College of Science freshmen joined the College Orientation and embarked on their university journey on 26 August at City University of Hong Kong.

The HKSAR Government hosted a Plaque Presentation Ceremony on 25 Aug, during which the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China presented plaque to the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Health (SKMEH).

Professor Sunny Wang and Professor Condon Lau, faculty members from the College of Science (CSCI), will be speakers in two community engagement activities of the coming “2025 Science in the Public Service” (SIPS), a platform that brings together leading scientists and the general public.

The College of Science proudly supported two inspiring STEM competitions this year to engage secondary school students from Hong Kong and Macau through hands-on learning and innovation.
