A group of 24 enthusiastic undergraduates from the College of Science recently participated in the STEM Education Student Teaching Scheme.

Professor Junzhang Ma, Associate Professor from the Department of Physics, has been awarded the 2025 Chen Ning Yang Award in recognition of his groundbreaking achievements in discovering and characterising multiple emergent quasiparticles across diverse crystalline systems.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) has claimed the top spot in Hong Kong and 11th globally in the latest “Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026”, in association with Schmidt Science Fellows, marking a historic achievement.

Sixteen researchers from the College of Science (CSCI) were named Highly Cited Researchers 2025 by Clarivate, and over 50 of our esteemed researchers were named the 2025 Top 2% of Scientists, as compiled by Stanford University.

A delegation led by Professor Xin Wang, Dean of the College of Science (CSCI), embarked on a significant and inaugural visit to Brazil in November 2025.

A research project by Professor Kenneth Leung, Associate Dean (Outreach and Internationalisation) of the College of Science, has been selected as one of the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society’s major technological advancements for 2024.
