11 Sep 2025 CityUHK and Columbia expand Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme Uniquely and for the first time, high school students from Hong Kong and around the world can apply directly for Year 1 entry to the elite JBDP run by CityUHK and Columbia University, starting from the 2026/27 academic year, enabling students to earn degrees from both institutions upon graduation.

09 Sep 2025 Opening Ceremony marks the start of Digital Health Asia 2025 organised by THE in partnership with CityUHK Digital Health Asia 2025 (DHA 2025), organised by Times Higher Education (THE) in partnership with City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) and the Institute of Digital Medicine (IDM), is being held from 8 to 10 September. The opening ceremony took place today (9 September), kicking off a dynamic three-day programme aimed at advancing digital healthcare innovation across the region. DHA 2025 has brought together over 420 delegates from 17 regions, including leaders from academia, healthcare, government and industry, to foster collaboration and drive progress in digital health.

05 Sep 2025 CityUHK welcomes new students with ceremony and activities City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) held a Welcoming Ceremony on 1 September, marking the official start of the new students’ journey at CityUHK. The ceremony welcomed all new students and featured engaging performances and sharing sessions. Attending the event were members of the senior management team, college deans and approximately 650 new local and non-local students.
