This programme allowed students to experience and learn about the latest AI applications, while also providing AI related training for Hong Kong primary and secondary school principals, preparing them for the future educational needs.

16 Mar 2026 CityUHK researchers achieve recognition with 27 Awards at the 51st Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions CityUHK proudly received 27 awards at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. The University’s researchers were honoured with one Special Prize, six Gold Medals with Jury Congratulations, eight Gold Medals, five Silver Medals, and seven Bronze Medals. 25 Feb 2026 Prof Qingfu Zhang’s research group from Department of Computer Science and Huawei has won 30-day CVRPLib BKS Challenge The OptVerse-CityU team, a collaboration between Prof Qingfu Zhang’s research group and Huawei, which includes former research staff Dr Fei Liu, research staff Dr Zidong Wang, and PhD students Mr Xin Chen, Mr Qinglong Hu, Mr Shunyu Yao, and Mr Kefeng Zheng, has won the 30-day CVRPLib BKS Challenge.
