13 Apr 2026 CityUHK’s STEM Career Fair 2026 achieves resounding success Jointly organised by the College of Computing, College of Engineering, College of Science, and School of Energy and Environment, STEM Career Fair 2026 successfully took place at the CityUHK earlier. As the first career event in this year and CityUHK’s sole STEM-focused fair, it served over 4,000 students across 13 departments and 27 disciplines from the organising colleges and schools.

The University’s researchers were honoured with one Special Prize, six Gold Medals with Jury Congratulations, eight Gold Medals, five Silver Medals, and seven Bronze Medals. 25 Feb 2026 Prof Qingfu Zhang’s research group from Department of Computer Science and Huawei has won 30-day CVRPLib BKS Challenge The OptVerse-CityU team, a collaboration between Prof Qingfu Zhang’s research group and Huawei, which includes former research staff Dr Fei Liu, research staff Dr Zidong Wang, and PhD students Mr Xin Chen, Mr Qinglong Hu, Mr Shunyu Yao, and Mr Kefeng Zheng, has won the 30-day CVRPLib BKS Challenge.
