The Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) successfully held its annual BMS Retreat on 5 January 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. The retreat brought together faculty members alongside general and technical staff for a day dedicated to collaboration, reflection, and forward planning.
Designed as both productive and energising, the retreat featured open discussions, knowledge exchange, creative brainstorming, and strategic conversations aligned with the department’s academic and research priorities. The relaxed setting encouraged cross-team dialogue and strengthened connections across roles and disciplines.
As BMS continues to grow within the College of Biomedicine, the insights and ideas generated during the retreat will help shape the department’s next phase of development. Building on these collective discussions, BMS remains committed to advancing excellence in biomedical research, education and innovation.
