We are delighted to share that Miss Sabrina Lo Cheuk Yin, a graduate of our Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences (BScBMS) programme, has been honoured with the Outstanding Student in Academic Performance Award by the Hong Kong Association of Medical Laboratories Limited (HKAML). The award was presented at the Association’s Annual General Meeting and Scientific Seminar held on 12 September 2025 at the Cordis Hotel, Hong Kong.

The award recognises students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and professional promise in the field of medical laboratory science. Sabrina stood out for her outstanding performance throughout her studies and her enthusiastic participation in departmental activities. Her achievement reflects her commitment to excellence and her passion for biomedical sciences.

“Throughout her academic journey, Sabrina has consistently impressed us with her excellence – not only in her studies, but also through her diligence, positive attitude and active engagement in departmental activities,” said Prof. Gigi Lo, Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Associate Dean (Undergraduate Education) of the College of Biomedicine. “We are very proud of her well-deserved recognition.”

Congratulations again to Sabrina on this remarkable accomplishment – a testament to her dedication and the high standards upheld by our BMS graduates.
