2. General guideline to payer/cardholder in choosing web browser and in operation during the payment process:

  1. The system best supports the latest version of the three web browsers, namely Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox at desktop PC. For other browsers and devices, we will try our best to provide helps.

  2. To successfully connect to the system, the chosen web browser must support at least one of the web security protocols, namely TLSv1.1 or TLSv1.2, and have it enabled.

  3. The web browser must be configured to enable Javascript and allow CityU server to write web browser cookie.

  4. The "Private Browsing Mode" of web browser, such as the "New Private Window" of Firefox, should not be used.

  5. During the payment process, payer should not press the web browser BACK button/shortcut key.

  6. The payment process must be finished within 15 minutes.

3. Payment of registration fees (in Hong Kong dollars) can be made by Credit Card through our Online Payment Gateway. Only Visa or MasterCard are accepted.

4. Symposium fee includes light lunches, coffee breaks, symposium materials and symposium proceedings.

5. It is expected that at least one author attends the Symposium to present the accepted paper/abstract/art project. Author(s) of the accepted paper/abstract/art project must register, pay the registration fee and personally present the paper/abstract/art project at the Symposium.

6. Reduced rate applies to CityU Staff, SCM Industry Partners and Participants from countries on World Bank's list of countries with low & lower middle incomes.

7. By registering for the Student Rate, you are certifying that you are currently enrolled full-time or graduating in August 2020. Proof of student status is required to confirm the Student Rate at the registration desk. The proof of student status consists of a valid student ID card or a letter from the institution’s registrar verifying the current status of the student/graduate.

8. There will be no refund on cancellation after successful registration.

9. Request for changes to symposium registration must be made in writing with justifications to and received no later than Tuesday, 1st June 2021 at 10:00 am (HK Time).

10. Delegates are not allowed to share a registration - one registration per delegate. Once an individual has checked in, the registration may not be transferred or substituted by another delegate.

11. The organizing committee of Art Machines 2: International Symposium on Machine Learning and Art 2021 reserves the right of final decision.
