Refund of Fees

Any overpayment of fees will normally be retained in the student's account for settlement of future fees and charges. Students who wish to apply for a refund of the overpaid amount should write to the Academic Regulations and Records Office (Online Enquiry Form). Refund will not be made for the non-refundable Acceptance Fee paid at the time of admission and for an amount less than HK$10. If the refund application is approved and the student has duly provided valid bank account information to the Finance Office by updating the “Maintain Student Bank Account” section of the "Personal Information" tab in AIMS under his/her own name, the approved refund will normally be released by the Finance Office within six weeks. For the avoidance of doubt, the six-week processing period commences only after both (i) approval of the refund application and (ii) confirmation that the required bank account information is complete and accurate; it does not run from the date of submission of the refund application.
