Finance Office provides a wide range of accounting,
financial and administrative functions in support of the
University in the fulfillment of its vision and mission.
We work closely with Colleges/Schools/Departments/Units
of the University to facilitate the establishment and
maintenance of strong partnerships between the
University and the Government, business, industry and
other sectors of the community.
We serve as a key advisor to the University on issues relating to
budgetary and financial policies, and maintain close
liaison with the funding bodies, Council committees,
management, staff members, student bodies and other
stakeholders in order to continuously meet their
evolving needs for financial information and advice.
Though our core functions are the provision of timely,
accurate and relevant financial information and high
quality professional advice, we also contribute to and
participate in initiatives and projects extending beyond
the financial boundaries. The focus of our service
has been on results, pursuing 3E (economy, efficiency
and effectiveness) at all levels and across a wide range
of functions, and delivering quality services to the
University community and stakeholders.
