Ada Chu graduated with a veterinary degree in 2009 from University of Melbourne, Australia. Before that, she had obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Animal Biology from University of Guelph, Canada.
After graduation, she worked in rural practice in Victoria, Australia predominately with dogs and cats and occasionally cattle, horses, sheep, and Australian wildlife. She continued to work in clinical practice after returning to Hong Kong and developed a special interest in avian medicine and surgery. She joined the CityU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in 2016 as the Diagnostic Service Coordinator. She is currently working towards obtaining a Master of Veterinary Medicine (MVM) from Massey University, New Zealand.
