Interview Invitation Schedule
JUPAS application
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an admissions interview by phone and email once the period for modification of JUPAS programme choices (after the release of HKDSE examination results) has ended. Applicants should expect a call from a phone number that starts with the digits "3442" in the late afternoon or evening.
Non-JUPAS application
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an admissions interview by email after the early and regular round application deadlines. Depending on the applicant’s location, an in-person or Zoom interview will be arranged.
Interview Tips
- Why do you want to study veterinary medicine?
- What are your expectations?
- Which facets of veterinary medicine are you interested in?
- Do you have any experience caring for or working with animals?
- Be truthful and authentic.
- Be realistic about animal pain, suffering and death.
- It is a rewarding, socially well regarded but very demanding job.
- Do not read notes or memorise any statement.
