Established in AY2026/27, the MNE Outstanding Performance Scholarships recognise MSc Mechanical Engineering students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, professional development, and active engagement in departmental activities.
A total of 10 scholarships will be awarded each year:
- • 🥇 Gold Award: 1 × HK$100,000
- • 🥈 Silver Award: 2 × HK$50,000
- • 🥉 Bronze Award: 7 × HK$10,000

Eligible Year 1 Full-time and Year 2 Part-time students may be nominated by the Department for scholarship consideration. Selection is based on academic performance, professional development, academic integrity, and contributions to the Department and University community.
Students are encouraged to strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom and seize this opportunity to gain recognition for their achievements and contributions.
