Professor Peng Zhang has been awarded the prestigious Kan Tong Po Visiting Fellowship by the Royal Society. This international fellowship will support his research visit to the United Kingdom, where he will collaborate on a project concerning thermal runaway in Lithium-ion batteries. His host institution will be the Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering at Loughborough University. Concurrently, Professor Zhang is a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies of Loughborough University. He has an established research collaboration with Dr. Lu Tian and Dr. Bijie Yang, focusing on various topics in combustion and energy utilization.
