Outstanding Research Awards 2022

City University of Hong Kong’s School of Law aspires to become a leading global University, excelling in research and professional education. The objectives of the Outstanding Research Award Scheme are to recognise and reward research excellence at CityU and to emphasise the School’s commitment to create an environment conducive to high quality research at an internationally competitive level.

The winner of the Outstanding Research Award 2022 is Dr CHAN Chi Hin Peter (Associate Professor, School of Law, City University of Hong Kong). The title of Dr Chan’s article is “Are Chinese Courts Pro-Labor or Pro-Employer?” (University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law, 2022).

Meanwhile, the Junior Award goes to Dr LAI Sin Chit Martin (Assistant Professor, School of Law, City University of Hong Kong). The title of his article is “Incentivizing Private Antitrust Enforcement to Promote Leniency Applications” (Journal of Competition Law & Economics, 2021).
