Jack BURKE has been lecturing in practical legal training for over 20 years, including 14 years in Hong Kong.

Jack has been actively involved in the creation of cutting-edge teaching and learning tools, such as the provision of online electronic feedback to students as an adjunct to oral feedback in advocacy courses.

He has also produced a number of DVDs of advocacy demonstrations and DVDs supporting interactive learning exercises in Citizens and Criminal Justice which have been supported by CityU Teaching and Development Grant Applications. Jack was also a co-investigator on an externally funded Teaching and Development Grant Application, “Digital Multimedia Resource for Legal English: An Interdisciplinary Project (CityU; #6361002)”.

Jack was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Australasian Pacific Legal Education Council in 2015.

Jack has made numerous presentations in the areas of criminal justice and legal education as well as publishing in academic journals in those areas.
