Postdoctoral Fellow (Application deadline: 13 November 2026)

Project: Exploration of potential environmental impacts of eco-friendly disinfectants from halophenolic DBPs/Compounds

 

We are recruiting one Postdoctoral Fellow to support an exciting research programme investigating the ecotoxicological effects and environmental fates of novel, eco-friendly disinfectants (e.g., halophenolic DBPs) in aquatic ecosystems.

 

1. Assist in project management for ecotoxicology and environmental risk assessment projects;
2. Conduct in-depth toxicity data analysis (e.g., EC50/LC50 calculation, species sensitivity distribution (SSD) modeling, and PNEC derivation);
3. Conduct laboratory bioassays using aquatic organisms (e.g., algae, invertebrates, and fish);
4. Prepare research proposals and scientific manuscripts.

 

1. Applicants should hold a PhD in Environmental Science, Ecotoxicology, Marine Biology, Environmental Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline;
2. Less than 2 years of work experience after the award of a PhD.

 

• Strong publication record in top international journals;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Experience in aquatic toxicity testing, omics analysis, or LC-MS/MS chemical analysis is preferred.
