Graduate Employment Survey

 

The Graduate Employment Survey (GES) is an annual survey conducted to all graduates of full-time programmes offered by City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). Information collected includes your employment status, plans of career engagement / further studies, and other related information.

 

Your participation and valuable input will be immensely valued by the University as it will provide instrumental insights to support CityUHK students’ and graduates’ career development.

Aims
The aims of the survey is to gain a better understanding of the employment profile of our graduates so that the University can achieve better planning of career services and develop strategies to raise further the competitiveness of CityUHK graduates.

 

Survey Method
Graduates are invited to complete the survey online during the period from August to December. As every response is vital to the University, you will be approached by Career and Leadership Centre (CLC) for conducting a telephone interview in case we have not received your online reply.

 

Survey Results
The survey results will be submitted to the University Grants Committee (UGC) and the Education Bureau (EDB) upon request, as well as to the senior management of the University and the Deans and Heads of Colleges / Schools / Departments.

 

Confidentiality

Please be assured that all information you provided in the Graduate Employment Survey 2025 (GES 2025) will be kept STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and presented in AGGREGATE forms only. CityUHK will keep your personal data confidential, and will not disclose your personal data to any unauthorized third parties outside the University without your consent.
