To welcome the new coming research students joining the PHY family, the Department held an Orientation for Research Students on 26th September 2019 at Room 5205, Lau Ming Wai Academic Building.
Prof KS Chan, Associate Head of the Department, welcomed the students on behalf of the Department. Also, Prof Robert Li, Associate Dean of Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies (SGS), gave a presentation to the students on behalf of SGS.
Students were then briefed on important information, including coursework requirements, qualifying examination arrangement, award, penalty, guidelines and duties for research students, as well as research students' office discipline and lab safety.
