September 24, 2019

The Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences (JCC) at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) recently welcomed the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University, Prof. Lorin Warnick, for a two-day visit. He was accompanied by Prof. Douglas Antczak, Professor of Equine Medicine at Cornell. CityU and Cornell have been collaborating for the past decade on the establishment of the veterinary school in Hong Kong and this visit further strengthened this successful partnership.

The Cornell visitors met with senior management of CityU and JCC, providing them with an update on the latest developments of the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine Program (BVM). They also took the opportunity to engage with CityU’s current BVM students at a joint lunch hosted by the acting Dean of JCC, Prof. Michael Yang. Dean Warnick met students from all three years and particularly welcomed our new cohort of UGC-funded students.
