JSDCJ Candidates Host FDRC Exchange Visit to School of Law

As part of the JSDCJ curriculum and community outreach initiatives, Professor Wenwei Guan, Director of the JSDCJ Programme, and 14 candidates from the 2025 and earlier cohorts, welcomed an exchange delegation from the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC) at the School of Law on the afternoon of 16 March 2026. The delegation was led by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kenneth Fok, and included Dispute Resolution Manager Mr. TY Lee, Assistant PR & Event Manager Ms. Ruby Chow, PR & Event Officer Ms. Alicia Ku, and Case Officer Mr. Gordon Leung. The visit responded to JSDCJ candidates’ request for a comparative legal research session on alternative dispute resolution.

The exchange began with Mr. Kenneth Fok’s opening remarks, in which he introduced the FDRC’s background and mission. Professor Guan also shared the history and development of the JSDCJ programme and expressed sincere gratitude for the generous support of the Hong Kong legal community toward the Programme’s community outreach initiatives. The discussion between the FDRC delegation and the senior judges of the JSDCJ Programme was highly constructive and fruitful, making the sharing session a truly stimulating and meaningful engagement.
