Dr. Jane Willems is an independent arbitrator, specializing in international commercial and Investor-state disputes. She has served as arbitrator or chair in numerous international commercial arbitrations (HKIAC, CIETAC, BAC, ICC, SIAC, KCAB, and UNCITRAL Rules) and in investor-state arbitrations (ICSID, PCA-UNCITRAL).
Dr. Willems is the Associate Director of the LLM in International Arbitration & Dispute Settlement, at Tsinghua University School of Law, Beijing (since 2015), a visiting professor at the University of Geneva (MIDS) and an adjunct associate professor at the University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Willems is a member of the Advisory Board of the Asian Academy of International Law (AAIL). She is a delegate of the AAIL at the UNCITRAL Working Group III (Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform). She is the ICCA Yearbook rapporteur for China.
