Desmond is the Deputy General Manager (Legal and International Operations) at Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), responsible for managing legal, regulatory, and international operations for the Hong Kong’s leading television station. He began his role at TVB as General Counsel in May 2010, was promoted to Assistant General Manager in December 2012, and advanced to his current position in July 2016.
Desmond possesses extensive experience in television and telecommunications industries. He worked as in-house counsel at Asia Television Limited from 1994 to 1999, and i-CABLE Communications Limited from 1999 to 2010.
Desmond has taught law at the postgraduate level since 2007.
