Project:  Development of a Sustainable Fisheries Management Strategy for Hong Kong (SKLMEH Milestone Task 2-3)

 

We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to support an exciting research programme developing a Sustainable Fisheries Management Strategy for Hong Kong.

 

Key duties

 

• Assist in managing ongoing fisheries research projects

• Conduct in-depth data analysis

• Prepare research proposals and scientific manuscripts

 

Requirements

Applicants should hold a PhD in Fisheries Science, Marine Ecology, Marine Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.

 

• Postdoctoral Fellow: less than 3 years of work experience after the award of a PhD

 

Additional requirements

 

• Strong publication record in top international journals

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently

• Experience in fisheries data analysis and marine biodiversity monitoring is preferred
