Professor Jian Wang Receives the Prestigious Thetos Young Scholar Award 2025-26

The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) is pleased to announce that Prof. Jian Wang, Assistant Professor at SEE, has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious Thetos Young Scholar Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

The Thetos Young Scholar Award Scheme operates through a partnership between City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) and the Thetos Foundation Hong Kong Limited, which established the Thetos Foundation Endowment Fund to provide financial support for outstanding early-stage scholars. With only two awards conferred each year, the accolade recognizes early-stage scholars who demonstrate exceptional academic and research excellence, a strong commitment to a professional academic career, and a dedicated drive to empower positive changes for a better society.
