A group of final-year undergraduate students, Mr. PAK Ngo Fung Ryan, Mr. YANG Senzhen, Mr. CHAN Kwan Ip Edward, and Miss TIAN Jinming led by Prof. ZHANG Peng and Mr. HU Zeying, was awarded the Outstanding Award in the ASMPT Technology 2025 ceremony along with a cash prize of 5,000 HKD.

The group successfully designed and manufactured an impressive impinging-jet injector utilising a three-dimensional printer. During the competition, Mr. YANG Senzhen and Mr. PAK Ngo Fung Ryan delivered an outstanding presentation, competing against graduates from other FYP groups from different universities in Hong Kong, and ultimately securing the prestigious award.

Prof. Li Weihong, representing City University of Hong Kong (CityU), attended the awards ceremony and accepted a souvenir on behalf of the university.
