Ir C. S. HO is a practising engineer and barrister‑at‑law, with extensive experience in engineering, legal practice, corporate management, and sustainable development.

Ir Ho graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and later obtained an MBA, a Postgraduate Diploma in Software Engineering, and the PCLL from HKU, as well as an LLB from the Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.

Ir HO currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of BEAM Society Ltd and practices as a Barrister‑at‑Law of the High Court of Hong Kong. He is also Honorary President of the World Institute of Sustainable Development Planners, Co‑Convener of the Green and Sustainable Finance Committee of the UNESCO Hong Kong Association, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at HKU, teaching both engineering and legal subjects.

Ir Ho previously served as Chief Building Services Engineer with the Hong Kong Housing Authority, leading the design and implementation of building services for public housing projects. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of CIBSE, Ir HO is also a Director of the Hong Kong Green Building Council. He is a strong advocate of green building and BEAM Plus (Building Environmental Assessment Method), promoting sustainability and quality in the built environment.
