Who are eligible?  

·      Current CityU associate, undergraduate and
 research postgraduate programmes students 
(EXCEPT College of Business students*)

·      2020 CityU graduates are eligible to attend up to
10 consultation sessions till 31st August 2021
(INCLUDING College of Business students) 

·      2021 CityU graduates are eligible to attend up to
10 consultation sessions till 31st August 2022
(INCLUDING College of Business students) 


* Non-final Year College of Business students may seek career advice from Business Career Development Team of CB:



How to make appointments? 

·         Consultations are available from Monday to Friday,
   9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m
. virtually via Zoom

·         Please make your appointment by filling in the online form at:

·         We will get back to you within 3 working days

Please understand that we have put in extra care and efforts in offering consultation sessions.  Please check your calendar to confirm your availability before booking a session.  

Preparation for the Consultation

Please prepare your resume and / or cover letter (in hard / soft copy) and share them with the advisor during the career consultation to maximise your learning experience.  If you will have a job interview, please also bring along the job requirements.


Appointment Policy

Students may take maximum 10 consultation sessions within each academic year.  Students who wish to have extra consultation sessions must seek special approval from Career and Leadership Centre. 


Cancellation / No Show Policy 

If you cannot attend your session, please be a responsible person and release the resources to others.  To cancel / postpone an appointment, please contact us at 3442 5591 or BEFORE 12:00 noon on the PREVIOUS WORKING DAY prior to your consultation session. 



Late cancellation

Cancelling AFTER 12:00 noon on the previous working day (excluding weekends and public holidays) prior to your scheduled appointment, you will not be eligible for making appointments in the following 1 week.

No-show & On-the-day cancellation

Students who cancel their session on the booking day / who are absent will not be eligible for making appointments in the following 2 weeks.

Late Arrival

Students who arrive late for more than 20 minutes will not be eligible for making appointments in the following 1 week.
