On the JUPAS Score Calculator webpage, select a programme to show the programme entrance requirements, admission score calculation method and reference scores.

By entering HKDSE results, the admission score of the selected programme will be calculated.

Based on the 2024 programme-specific main admission score formula and the HKDSE results (excluding results in Liberal Studies) of the JUPAS applicants with Main Round offers in 2023 entry, admissions scores calculated by simulation for individual programmes for 2024 JUPAS are available for reference. Please click here for the information.

For 2024 entry, the main admission score calculation of individual programmes is based on "3 core + best 2 elective subjects", "Best 5 subjects (may include specified subjects) or "Best 4 subjects (may include specified subjects)". Details are available here.

Note: Liberal Studies Level 2 or above results are accepted for meeting the Citizenship and Social Development subject requirement in the General Entrance Requirements.

The University has provided entrance scholarships, "CityU Scholarships for Hong Kong Talents", to recruit bright Hong Kong talented students with excellent HKDSE results. Applications for the President's Scholarships and Hong Kong Tech Scholarships are accepted until early June 2024.

To cater to the advanced learning needs of elite students and to enhance their competitiveness, The CityU Tiger Programme offers Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme with Ivy League and other world-class universities including Columbia University, University of Edinburgh and University of Manchester and a customised curriculum in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and other high quality fundamental courses. Students can also pursue a master's degree at the University or at a world-renowned overseas university through our bachelor’s and master’s combination option.

CityU has established partnerships with the following world-renowned universities to offer joint Bachelor's degree programmes.

Students will spend two years at CityU and two years at the partner university. On completion of the curriculum requirements, students will earn two bachelor's degrees - one from CityU, and the other one from the partner university, normally within four years.

CityU students who wish to be considered for the joint bachelor's degree programmes must be enrolled in a 4-year degree programme of the majors concerned. More details of the eligibility criteria and relevant majors are available here.
