A research team featuring an expert from CityU has developed the first dual stem therapy which gives hope for a new treatment for repairing myocardial infarction heart.


We are pleased to announce that Professor Michael Yang, Yeung Kin Man Chair Professor of Biomedical Sciences and formerly the Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, has been announced as the Acting Dean of the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences from 1 September 2019 until further notice.

Professor Dirk Pfeiffer (Chair Professor of One Health) attended the Inception Workshop for the Regional Technical Cooperation Programme on African Swine Fever Emergency Preparedness and Response in East and Southeast Asia. The meeting was held by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Regional Office for Asia and Pacific (FAORAP) in August in Bangkok, Thailand.
