About Us
The Office of the Senior Vice-President (Innovation and Enterprise) oversees and drives strategic development of innovation and enterprise initiatives at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), supporting CityUHK as a global leading hub for innovation in research and education. We foster a thriving CityUHK innovation and enterprise ecosystem, contributing to the development of innovation and technology in society.
Our dedicated efforts encompass:
- HK Tech 300
A large-scale flagship innovation and entrepreneurship programme, that aims to empower youth, incubate deep-tech start-ups, and transform CityUHK’s world-class research and intellectual property into impactful societal solutions. - CityUHK Academy of Innovation
The Academy offers a series of innovative academic programmes, including PhD by Innovation, MSc in Venture Creation, GRIT, and STEP. These programmes foster a leading international ecosystem that nurtures young entrepreneurs, incubates deep-tech start-ups, and promotes university-industry collaboration. A Global Talent Flow Data Hub under the Academy studies and tracks the global mobility trends of innovative talent. - Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO)
KTO serves as the gateway to CityUHK’s intellectual resources. KTO facilitates intellectual property administration, technology licensing, and commercialisation to bridge the University with industry and society. - CityU Enterprises Limited (CityUE)
As the University’s wholly-owned investment arm, CityUE provides financial support, expert guidance, access to resources, and lifecycle monitoring to empower start-ups and accelerate industrial growth, fostering a dynamic ecosystem for entrepreneurial success. - CityUHK Institute of Digital Medicine (IDM)
The IDM is an interdisciplinary hub merging engineering, data science, and life sciences to develop next-generation digital healthcare solutions in collaboration with global institutions and industry partners. - Funding Schemes
Driving institutional participation in major government initiatives supporting RAISe+ Scheme, TSSSU, and InnoHK Centres.
