About Us

The Office of the Senior Vice-President (Innovation and Enterprise) oversees and drives strategic development in innovation and enterprise initiatives at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), supporting CityUHK as a global leading hub for innovation in research and education.

Our dedicated efforts encompass:

Developing a leading international ecosystem that nurtures young entrepreneurs, incubates deep-tech start-ups and promotes university-industry collaboration;
Offering a series of innovative academic programmes at PhD, Master of Sciences (MSc) and undergraduate (UG) levels, with a focus on deep-tech venture creation;
Implementing HK Tech 300, the large-scale flagship innovation and entrepreneurship programme that empowers aspiring entrepreneurs within CityUHK community and other young people to launch start-ups and ignite their entrepreneurship journey;
Promoting the translation of CityUHK’s research discoveries and intellectual property into practical applications, benefiting everyday life;
Integrating entrepreneurial elements into our education and research, cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, and fostering the synergy and partnerships between CityUHK and different sectors.

Through these initiatives, we aim to create a thriving CityUHK innovation and enterprise ecosystem, contributing to the development of innovation and technology in society.
