The CityUHK Choir Annual Performance 2023/24 "Songs of the Earth" was successfully held on 13 April 2024!

Under the leadership of Principal Conductor Mr Chris Chi-shan CHENG and Pianist Mr LI Chun Chung Victor, over 50 choir members presented a series of music pieces in different languages, including Malay folk songs, Spanish Basque songs, Mexican folk music, Rukai folk songs, etc. , at the Sanctuary, Methodist International Church.

The Choir aimed to use music as a bridge, sharing musical heritage and unique cultures around the world with the audience. Through the performance, they hoped to lead the audience to experience the beauty and kindness of human nature while praising nature’s selfless nourishment and gifts to mankind, which echoed the theme of the concert.

Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to the Choir members and seven executive committee members for their hard work in organising the annual performance, which brought it to a perfect conclusion!
