On 19 March 2024, the Happening Arts Programme invited local sandpainting artist, Ms Snow CHUNG, to showcase the aesthetic beauty of sand art to our students n CityUHK campus.
With the tutor’s guidance for 2 hours, novice students tried to create paintings composed with various patterns, such as the sea, trees, fruits, hand lettering, etc., relaxing their minds and exciting their creativity. Although it was the students' first time in touch with sand paintings, they mastered a few basic techniques and enjoyed creating their own paintings on this joyful evening.
