On 25 October 2023, the sixth show of CityU Arts Festival 2023/24, School of Dance of Xinghai Conservatory of Music: Xinghai Dance in the City, was successfully held!

A group of elite dancers from the School of Dance of Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China, were invited to present a dance show at CityU. It had been five years since the last invitation in 2018. The dancers showcased their talents through various dancing styles, including Chinese classical dance, folk dance, modern dance, contemporary dance, etc. With the gorgeous costumes and graceful dance movements, the diversified dance performances of "Endless Life", "Sunrise", "Joy of Fish", etc., beautifully illustrated the aesthetics of dance to the audience. The dancers' talents amazed the audience, giving them rounds of applause towards the end of the show and summarising this unforgettable evening!
