On 20, 21, and 22 October 2023, our talented CityU performers brought superb Broadway musical shows with the classic comedy Sister Act, drawing a full house of audience on each show day.

With the gorgeous and colourful tailor-made costumes, the cast members sang and danced on stage, vividly acting the different characters in the show, including Deloris (the leading actress), the nuns, and the gang members, etc. The stark contrast between Deloris’s outgoing personality and the rigid and uptight lifestyle at the monastery drew the audience’s laughter. The energetic performances of “Take Me to Heaven”, “Sunday Morning Fever”, “When I Find My Baby”, etc. won rounds of applause from the audience, giving great appreciation for the cast members’ hard work and commitment over the past 5 months.

After the show, our cast members gathered for a group photo with the production team and former cast members, which was a delightful moment for a thriving CityU Musical family. Thank you again for everyone’s efforts, and CityU Musical will see you again next year!
