The third highlight of the Happening Arts Programme, the FLOWER PLAQUE workshops, was successfully held on 12 and 14 April 2023!

It was a two-night workshop for the participants to produce a large-scale CityU flower plaque together! They got a glimpse into the production process of traditional handicrafts, including bamboo scaffolding, painting, decorating, and installing the flower plaque. We were delighted to have Mr CHAN Sing, an experienced flower plaque artisan, and his team coaching our participants. The workshops were joyful, and everyone was thrilled to see the finished plaque.

The finished plaque will be displayed at the Traditional Chinese Handicrafts exhibition at Student Hub, Yeung Kin Man Academic Building, from 17 April to 16 May 2023. Welcome to take a photo with the beautiful plaques and lion heads!
