From 26 to 30 May 2025, the SEN Support Service of CityUHK’s Student Development Services, along with our Inclusion Ambassadors and students with special educational needs, embarked on a five-day, four-night barrier-free tour to Beijing.
The trip included exploring barrier-free facilities around the city, learning about the lives of local individuals with special needs and their caregivers, visiting a children’s rehabilitation medical centre, and touring iconic landmarks of Beijing, such as the Ming Tombs, Temple of Heaven Park, Juyongguan Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace.
Participants also had the opportunity to experience Peking Opera makeup and enjoyed a live Peking Opera performance!
