“I always emphasise the importance
of inclusion in a community,” Jacky
says, adding that inclusivity is not only
giving care to those in need, but treating
everyone equally. Jacky believes everyone
should have access to equal opportunities
and resources.

Graduated from CityU last year,
Jacky thanks CityU who made him an
Inclusion Ambassador. In the team, he
learnt to work with other ambassadors,
able-bodied or with disabilities different 31
from him, deepen his empathy level
and gain more and more confidence by
reaching out to advocate social inclusion.
In his final year of study, representing the
CityU Inclusion Ambassador Programme,
he visited his own secondary school and
shared his learning experience in CityU to
the students there.

Jacky relished playing the active role
of promoting awareness of inclusion
and special educational needs at the
school, demonstrated by his 4 years of
commitment in the team.
