JSDCJ Candidates Visited International Organization for Mediation
As part of the JSDCJ curriculum and community outreach initiatives, Professor Wenwei Guan, Director of the JSDCJ Programme, led a delegation of 14 candidates from the 2024 and 2025 cohorts on a visit to the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed) headquartered in Hong Kong in the morning of 6 November 2025.

Jointly initiated by China and 18 other countries, and now comprising 38 signatory states, IOMed is the world's first intergovernmental legal organization dedicated to resolving international disputes through mediation. Covering interstate disputes, state-investor commercial and investment disputes, and international commercial disputes between private parties, the IOMed offers a more flexible, efficient, and accessible alternative for international dispute resolution. The discussion and exchange between the senior judges of the JSDCJ delegation and their hosts were highly constructive and fruitful, making the visit a truly meaningful and successful endeavour.
